The business of software North is structured into two areas: software Development for the Aged Care Sector and Bureau Services to the Aged Care Sector. The staff at software North are highly experienced, they are here and at your disposal to consult as to how our Bureau or our TriMicro software products may assist with the particular needs of your facility.
We build and maintain the TriMicro suite of software application to meet the needs of the ever changing Aged Care Sector. In order to do this we have a small staff providing administration, technical expertise, programming and support. Backing up this core staff is a team of computer professionals contracted for specific expertise.
We believe that there is no such thing as a "Computer Expert", we do not profess to know it all but, if there is a problem, we will seek the person with the experience and expertise necessary to solve that problem.
Our Professional, experienced bureau staff have many years experience in the production of Resident Accounts, Departmental Claims and Payroll and are conversant with all Aged Care State Awards. They have an in-depth knowledgeable in all our TriMicro products, rest assured you are in good hands.
Lorrie Rea has been involved with computers and software development since the early 80's.
Lorrie is CEO and as such keeps an eye on everything that is happening in the busy software North office. The other eye is always looking to future directions in Aged Care and ensuring that software North and its TriMicro suite are on track for the foreseeable future.
He will tell you that he sleeps well at night knowing that, with the proficient and professional staff and over 70 years experience in Aged Care behind him, the job will be done-on-time every time.
Jane Gaertner, with a Bachelor of Commerce, has been in Aged Care for over 20 years, working initially for 7 years as Accountant for Maranoa Aged Care which consisted of high, low and self care.
Jane was responsible for setting up TriMicro Queensland which later amalgamated with software North. Jane's role is to liaise with clients, programmers, Medicare and DoHA and ensure that TriMicro products are always up to date with the latest industry requirements as well as meeting the individual needs of clients.
Mark, our Manager, comes to us with some 7 years Payroll management and Administration experience - including managing an Aged Care Payroll bureau.
Mark is an extremely knowledgeable and competent administrator giving him the skills required to also oversee our Billing and Management Bureau.
It is Mark's responsibility to ensure that our Office and Management services operate at full proficiently through the effective coordination of its many parts.
Perry Cornish has a Bachelor Applied Science (Computing) and has been with us since 2001 and is an integral part of our development team being principally responsible for Payroll programming and Medicare eBusiness systems integration (MeBi).
Perry has many years experience as a programmer, has a deep understanding of SQL systems and is a stickler for 'doing it right the first time'.
Doreen Rakoroi has been involved in Aged Care for 30 years and has a vast understanding of all facets. Doreen ran 12 Nursing Homes for a Health Care group for 10 years before moving on to manage a TriMicro Bureau for 11 years, being responsible for both the Payroll and Billing & Claims functions.
Doreen has worked for software North for 2 years, doing In-house training with new and existing clients. She has excellent knowledge of Aged Care funding and has been instrumental in recouping many thousands of dollars for clients who have chosen to undertake a back audit of their Medicare and DoHA claims.
Roberto Matiussi has been working with us since July 2009. Roberto holds a Bachelor of Information Technology, has more than six years experience in the administration of computer networks and helpdesk support as well as two years commercial experience in website development.Roberto has several roles including Network Technician, Application Design & Testing, Web Site Design & implementation and evaluation of ongoing development platforms.
Julie Trueman has been working with us since October 2010.
Julie came to us with a vast experience in Payrolls (including Aged Care) and Bookkeeping.
When Julie came to us she has only recently moved into the area and she has now decided to move back home to Victoria, to be closer to family. But, since Julie is now well skilled with our TriMicro software, rather than saying goodbye, Julie will continue to work for us as our Representative in Victoria.
Samantha McKnight has been working with us since October 2010.
Sam came to us with excellent computer skills and an impressive customer relations background.
Sam heads our Customer Support help desk and keeps her product knowledge firsthand and up-to-date by working with specific clients on our bureau.
Daniel has a Batchelor of Information Technology from Griffith University, with a GPA of 6.12 (not that he would ever tell you that!) Daniel started with software North in July 2015 and he is one of our star performers. Primarily he looks after several of our bureau clients and is our acting Bureau Manager when Mark is away. But it doesn't stop there! Daniel also writes reports for our Payroll and new Billing programs as well as clients support when needed.
Dean started at software North in Sept 2017 with a comprehensive knowledge of computers, programming skills in several modern languages, as well as scripting and web design. Dean is another of our quiet achievers, primarily looking after his bureau clients but as well, he continually hones his programming skills with development and maintenance tasks on the payroll. You could say he knows the payroll inside and out!
Hayley started with us in July 2017. Hayley is a bright enthusiastic person with a background in legal administration. Hers is the welcoming voice that you will hear when you ring software North Support. Hayley provides support to all our programs, particularly Resident Billing and Claims.
Chief therapist and office mascot at software North. Whenever something isn't working as it should for no reason (a certainty in the software development industry), she's there to comfort her co-workers into relaxing and looking for the bug one more time. I guess you could say that she's there when things get... ruff.
Chelsea always brings dirt-covered feet, unfettered energy, and enthusiasm to the office. She's basically Billy, only people smile when she runs up to them on a Monday morning.
Billy Moffat has been working with us since May 2013. He's tasked with managing and developing the browser-based software including blogs, websites (meaning he's also the most handsome staff member according to this page), the TriMicro Web Hub (TriOnline), the TriMicro Cloud Servers, and any miscellaneous job that others don't feel like doing. He aims to bring fresh ideas, and a perspective of technology that could only come from being a child born of the internet.
